Since it is almost Halloween.
I thought I would look up to see if there were any urban legends around the cemetery.
On this episode of did you know....

• Beaver Cemetery Rumors: Located south of Rolla off Highway 63 on County Road 5190, this historic 19th-century burial ground is considered haunted by local enthusiasts. Some amateur paranormal investigators and local forum posters note experiencing disembodied voices, unexplainable mists, and moving rocks in the area.

The Beaver Creek Mine is a historical, small-scale iron ore mine located in southern Rolla Township in Phelps County, Missouri. : Historical underground and surface iron mine. Inactive and closed, with no plans to resume operations.Location Situated near Beaver Creek in Rolla Township, detailed in local mining records and databases like The Diggings.Geology: Known regionally for basic local rock and mineral formations.

Did you know....
Beaver Creek near Rolla, Missouri, got its name from the historical presence and abundance of beavers that once lived along its waters. The stream, located in southern Rolla Township (and near the Beaver Creek Conservation Area managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation), was named by early settlers and locals due to these animals building dams and populating the area. It also lent its name to the nearby historical Beaver Creek Mine.

Little Beaver Creek (often referred to locally as Beaver Creek) near Rolla, Missouri, flows westward from the Rolla area and empties into the Little Piney Creek southwest of Doolittle, which subsequently drains into the Gasconade.

Let's meet the board...
This is the last board member.
Let's meet our president.
Cheri Sieber....she is the first female president in association history. She is a Rolla native but lives in St. James. She has been on the board for the past 3 years. Took over as president, just last year.
She likes to meet the family members that come to the cemetery to visit their loved ones. So, if you are ever out there when she is, please say hi.
