Let's meet the board...
This is the last board member.
Let's meet our president.
Cheri Sieber....she is the first female president in association history. She is a Rolla native but lives in St. James. She has been on the board for the past 3 years. Took over as president, just last year.
She likes to meet the family members that come to the cemetery to visit their loved ones. So, if you are ever out there when she is, please say hi.

We also did a sponsorship for the Grape & Fall Festival this year. We missed the deadline to have our name on the back of the shirts. But we were able to get our name in the book.
Might have to click on the last picture & zoom in to see our name.

I finally got my pictures transferred over.
This year we were able to sponsor a local high schooler at the sell showcase. Phelps Co fair did different things this year. The kids showed their animals back in May, then they went back to sell their animals.
Alyssa Gill is a St James high schooler. She has been showing animals for the past 6 years now and has done very well at it.
From herd's man to grand champion.
She pushes herself every year to do her best. She also doesn't let people help her. She does this all on her own.
From the purchase of the animal of her choosing ( which is usually a hog), to training, and to making sure it makes weight for the fair.
She is 100% dedicated to doing this and enjoys it as well.
Alyssa did something different this year. She not only showed a hog but also a sheep.
Next year is already in the works for her. She will possibly be showing a sheep again, but also maybe a steer.
Congratulations Alyssa on a job well done and keep up the great work.

This stone has been down for a minute.
The top part was very heavy, so we needed to think about how to get it back on the base. Also, the base was sinking so Aaron was able to fix that so it was more sturdy when he put the top piece back on.
It came together nicely and it is back together.
Aaron is doing a great job on maintaining the cemetery & trying to bring it back to life. Thank you for all you do, especially in the heat!

Little update....
At the end of July we will be a part of the sale for animals at the Rolla Fairgrounds. This is not the fair, they did things differently this year. The kids showed their animals at the Phelps Co Fair and now they are going back to sell the animals. We will do a premium at the sale.
We have a sponsorship with the Grape & Fall Festival 2026 in St James. Our name will be on the back of the shirts and in their festival book.
Then in September we will be sponsoring a hole for a golf tournament and possibly have our name on the back of that shirt. Have to get more info when the time gets closer.
We are doing this to get our name out there and for people to know that we exist.
I'm very super excited about this. Once I get the shirt or the festival book for St James, I will post that.
