Don’t miss this...Marriage on Fire sermon series beginning Sunday, Nov 1st, designed to help anyone planning to be married and also married couples keep their love on FIRE, strengthen their commitment, overcome challenges, and build a Christ-centered marriage.

As it addresses the spiritual, emotional, and relational & intimate dimensions of marriage, it has a rating of PG-13 so be prepared to hear God’s truth.

With this series being rated PG-13 it is important that you check your children, ages birth-5th grade into our wonderful Kids Ministry.

✨🧡 OCTOBER IS PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH!

✨TODAY’S SPOTLIGHT: Chris and Stacy Waldmann

Chris and Stacy serve as our Discipleship Pastors, leading with hearts full of faith and a deep desire to help others grow closer to God. Married for 35 years, they love spending time with their five kids and 4 grandkids!

They love spending time outdoors and going on new adventures together. Their passion for prayer and spiritual growth inspires everyone around them to take the next step in their faith journey.

✨🧡OCTOBER IS PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH!

We have been highlighting members of our pastoral team this week, and here we are with another spotlight!

✨TODAY’S SPOTLIGHT: Dave and Michele Stoner✨

Dave and Michele serve as our Teaching Pastors, bringing wisdom, experience, and warmth to every message they share. Married for 38 years, they have 4 kids and 8 grandkids who fill their lives with joy. When you see them next, ask them about their latest adventures with their “grandcuties”☺️

After years of military service that took them around the world, they now enjoy traveling to visit their grandkids and spending time outdoors. Their grounded faith and love for family inspire everyone who knows them.

They have brought a wealth of knowledge and the ability to dive deeper into all aspects of the Bible throughout their Gear City University group. If you have ever been a part of it, you know how they can take a topic that seems so big and break it down to make so much sense.

Also bonus points for Michele’s amazing cookies! ☺️🍪

✨TODAY’S SPOTLIGHT: Pastor Gina Schafer✨

As soon as you meet and get to know Gina, you know she brings heart, grace, and dedication to everything she does. As our Executive Pastor, she leads with wisdom, joy, and a deep love for people that shines through in every conversation. She makes everyone feel seen and heard. She truly serves with the LGLOSA motto in mind

Gina and her husband, James, have been married for 17 years and are the proud parents of the four amazing Schafer girls. Together, Gina and James are passionate about encouraging and mentoring other couples to build strong, faith-filled marriages. You may have seen them up on stage together many times at our Better Together gatherings.

We’re so thankful for Gina’s steady leadership, her authenticity, and the way she pours into our church family each and every day.

Eddie and Karen serve as our Lead Pastors and have been faithfully leading Gear City Church since the start! They truly embody what it means to Love God, Love others and Serve All

They are the proud parents of Lebriska and absolutely love being the grandparents to their beautiful granddaughters!

They love traveling, cruising, playing golf together and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. But above all else, their greatest passion is seeing lives changed through Jesus. Their heart for people and the Gospel continues to shape Gear City’s mission of taking as many people to Heaven as possible.

🧡TOMORROW IS ACTION SUNDAY!!🧡

This Sunday October 18th is Action Sunday. This Sunday is designed for all of us to “Be the Church” rather than attending our normal worship experience on Sunday.

Make plans now to spend time with people that are not followers of Jesus either having coffee/lunch or maybe invite over for a backyard BBQ. If you would rather serve them in some way that would be great also. The goal is simply to put into practice “Being the Church”.

We will not be having our normal weekend experiences this Sunday. Be intentional to do what Jesus did in taking time for unbelievers. Stewarding our Time, Talent and Treasure creates opportunities to love like Jesus.

There will be NO IN PERSON EXPERIENCES tomorrow! Use this opportunity to BE THE CHURCH!!!
