Today we’re celebrating our Youth & Worship Pastor, Gannon Breig! 🤍

Pastor Gannon has such an incredible heart for God and for the people he leads. From investing in the next generation to leading our church in worship, he helps people grow in their faith and discover the joy of following Jesus.

As a youth pastor, he helps our students know they are loved, that they belong, and that God has a purpose for their lives. Having someone who believes in them, points them to truth, and encourages them to make their faith their own is a gift that can impact them for a lifetime.

As a worship leader, he helps us turn our attention toward Jesus and lift our voices together in praise. We’re thankful for the heart behind his leadership and the care he brings to serving our church in both of these roles.

Pastor Gannon, thank you for pouring so much into our students and our church family. Your time, prayers, and faithful investment matter—even when you don’t get to see all the ways God is using them. We love you, appreciate you, and are so grateful you’re part of Rolla First!

Today we’re celebrating our Executive Pastor, Garrett Smith! 🤍

If you know Pastor Garrett, you know what a gift he is to Rolla First. We are so grateful for the heart he brings to this church, the care he has for people, and the time and energy he pours into serving. So much goes into helping a church move forward, and we never want to take for granted the people who give so much of themselves to help make that happen. Garrett has been such a valuable part of our church family, and we are better because he has been here.

His graphic gives you a few fun things to know about him—from his love of hickory golf and beef jerky to a Rubik’s Cube time most of us couldn’t come close to! But there’s so much more to appreciate about the person behind those answers. Garrett, we hope you know how deeply you are loved and how much your investment in this church means to us.

That makes this season especially bittersweet. Soon, Garrett and his family will be moving to Texas to be closer to family. We are going to miss them greatly. Saying goodbye to people who mean this much to our church is hard, even when there is so much to celebrate about what’s ahead.

As much as we wish we could keep them here, we believe God has big plans for their family. We’re praying for meaningful time with loved ones, new opportunities, and clear direction as they take this next step. We look forward to seeing how God continues to work in and through their lives, and we’ll be cheering them on from Missouri.

Pastor Garrett, thank you for all you have given to Rolla First. Thank you for serving, for caring, and for being such an important part of this church family. You and your family will be deeply missed and dearly loved long after the move.

He may question his skills on the basketball court and in the deer stand, but we have no doubts about the pastor God has given us.

Meet our lead pastor, Lance Langenberg! The flannels, the humor, and the love of pancakes are all part of who he is—and we love him for it. What we appreciate most, though, is his heart for Jesus and for the people of Rolla First.

Pastor Lance, thank you for preaching God’s Word with conviction, loving this church so well, and challenging us to live out our faith beyond Sunday morning. The way you lead helps us grow, and your faithfulness matters more than you know.

Your favorite verse, Acts 20:24, speaks of finishing the race and sharing the good news of God’s grace. Thank you for helping us keep that same purpose in front of us. We love you, Pastor Lance, and we’re grateful to call you our pastor! 🤍
