Today marks the first day of school for many such as St. John Lutheran School, Rogers City Area Schools and St. Ignatius Loyola here in our little town.
While we often pray for the safety and courage of our students as they return back to School each year as they see familiar, and often new faces, and learn new lessons to guide them throughout life, don't forget to thank your children's teachers for all their hard work and sacrifices.
Teachers reflect Christ’s "servant heart" each day as they give time, patience, and creativity to help children grow. Their quiet sacrifices; staying up late to prepare lessons, offering encouragement to those in need, including their endless devotion for their students.
Let us thank God for their wisdom and strength, and pray for His protection, and remember that every lesson and act of kindness is a seed of faith and hope planted in a child’s life.
