As we look forward to celebrating 150 years of service to the City of Rockport on September 27, we look back at the minutes that recorded our founding. Here is the first page of the minutes from March 10, 1876:

The Sunday School lesson for September 13, 2026 is "God Speaks Through the Bible." The Scripture Passage is Psalm 19:7-14. Please join us in-persona at 10am Central. Due to internet issues, we are no longer using Facebook Live, rather we are recording each service and then posting the recordings to James E. Manasco's page. Rockport Missionary Baptist Church will be tagged in the posts, as well. Worship Service will follow at 11am Central. The Church's monthly business meeting will follow after the Worship Service.

The Sunday School lesson for September 6, 2026 is "God Speaks to His People." The Scripture Passage is Exodus 3:1-6,11-15; 4:28-31. Please join us at 10am Central in-person (please and thank you!) or watch via James E. Manasco's Facebook Live post. If internet issues keep happening, we may discontinue the Facebook Live sessions and move to just recording the lesson and posting afterwards. Worship Service will follow at 11am. Online, yes, but in-person is soooo much better! Hope you can join us!!!
