Our next sermon series starts THIS Sunday! Weâre calling it "The Grammar of Marriage: Godâs Framework for His Gift of Grace."
This series will look at Godâs Word and what He has to say about this profound covenant relationship. Whether youâre single, married, divorced, or widowed, come expectant, as the covenant of marriage has much to help frame your understanding of the Christian life, from repentance to sacrifice, from service to forgiveness, and ultimately to the culmination of all things.
Marriage is penultimate. Itâs a signpost pointing to the substance of the gospel: Godâs covenant love for His people in Christ. Come and sit under the Word of God, and let it relay truth, reprove where needed, restore what is bent and broken, and rebuild you in a way only God can. Come expectant to learn what it means to be a God-honoring man or woman, how to submit to God, how to ensure your identity is rooted in Christ, and ultimately how to look and long together for the culmination of the marriage supper with the Lord Jesus Himself.
