Afternoon of Poetry and Prose Join us for an afternoon of shared poetry & prose on the Second Sunday, (Aug.- Apr.) Authors have included local talent and writers from across the southeast.

from 2-4 pm, at Bakhita Arts (Bannon Hall @ St Mary Catholic Church) in Rock Hill. What better way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon than sharing good words with friends! The second Sunday of each month, (August - April) from 2-4 pm, an Afternoon of Poetry and Prose spotlights a featured author and invites guests to participate in the Open Mic portion afterward. Past featured authors' works have include

d poetry, novels, memoir, and short fiction. Featured presenters share from their work for roughly 40 minutes apiece. Stick around after the Featured Author for the Open Mic portion of the afternoon. Open Mic participants are asked to keep their selection under 5 minutes to allow time for all interested to participate. We hope to see you at our next event!
