When the Enemy Try’s to Isolate You
Hebrews 10:25 “Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but let us exhort one another, and so much more especially as you see the day approaching”
Have you ever felt like no one truly understands or cares what you’re going through in trying times? Are you finding yourself not reaching out or asking for prayers? Have you began to believe those lies the enemy has whispered in your ear? Have you began to isolate yourself and tell yourself, “I’ll just deal with this alone”? That’s exactly what the enemy wants you to do! That's spiritual warfare and the enemy wants you to be isolated. When we come together in “one accord” as the Body of Christ, the enemy is quickly reminded he has been truly defeated! Hallelujah! Thank You, Jesus! That's why our Abba Father commands us to assemble together as we’re told in Hebrews 10:25. The enemy wants to bring division, and separation in the Body of Christ. Even Jesus in His moment of deepest sorrow, sought the company of His disciples (Matthew 26:38). If Jesus sought the company of His disciples during a time of great pain, then how much more do we as a member of the Body of Christ should? If you ever feel like isolating yourself in times of struggles or spiritual battles… please, reach out to a fellow sister or brother. Reach out to your Pastor, a mentor, an elder. Pick up the phone and call someone you trust, and ask for prayer! Just remember, when one sheep is separated from the flock, it becomes an easy target for the wolf (satan). Jesus said in Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Don’t allow the enemy to isolate you because isolation will affect your spiritual well-being. It’s in God’s presence we are renewed!
