For Vacation Bible School this year, Bethel and St.John's youth groups were able to get some hands on experience with the lessons that the little ones were learning back at the church!
Our mission challenges were:
I can share my gifts. - Youth served dinner at the Bethel Mens Shelter and learned about a variety of ways to give and support the unhoused community.
I can be brave. - Youth made cards for shut ins, made bracelets to share God's love, and painted rocks to spread joy in the community.
I can give my all. - Youth helped at HOPE of Rock Hill with a variety of background tasks such as organizing donations, shredding old documents, and sweeping high traffic areas.
As a hands on, mission-focused church, we at Bethel are dedicated to raising our youth to be aware of the needs in the community and helping in any way we can.
