I'm Elizabeth Burns and I'm the Founder of S.E.E.K. I have a background as a women's Bible study leader, a Childcare provider/Coordinator, a Facilitator, and a Mentor/Coach for Teachers. I have the heart to serve women and children and help them both become the best versions of who God has called them to be. Matthew 6:33 says,
“But seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness
and all these

things shall be added to you.”

It was at this time the acronym S.E.E.K. was born –
Spiritual- Encouragement- Engagement – Knowledge. My story has helped me grow spiritually through encouragement from God’s word as well as from others. I have used these learning experiences to encourage other women that they too, can be all the Lord wants them to be. My life experiences have taught me how to live as a saved and single woman. I’ve learned what spiritual warfare is all about, experiencing spiritual freedom, and healthy thinking. For Women (Spiritual, Encouragement, Engagement, and
Knowledge) is a nonprofit organization that serves diverse single,
divorced, separated, women internationally. S.E.E.K.’s mission is
to equip and empower women to unlock their own ability to defeat the
odds of life, by strengthening their faith, gaining their confidence, and
pursuing their purpose. God Bless,

Good afternoon, Everyone!

It's not a mistake my sis posted in this group chat today and said what she said. God knows what HE is doing and it's right on time!

What I've learned is continue to pray for all who is in ministry. It's a calling that never stops regardless if you see it on social media or out and about. Ministry is always happening.

So, as I restart posting and continue the ministry God has called me to, I welcome all who are already a part of the group and those who will join to pray that you see Christ for who He is to you.

I'm a vessel not God and will never claim to be. What I learn and God reveals, He can reveal and learn too! I'm not different than anyone. I'm am a woman after God who is truly S.E.E.K.ing to Know God more and focus helping ladies and others to do the same by mentorship, coaching, and sharing insights.

This is "S.E.E.K.ing to Know God More Bible Study Group" where we are here to learn, grow, move, and respect others and their growth. There's no competition or fight for spotlight but a space for woman to gain insights about who God is in their life. Build that intimacy with Christ because God loves time with His children.

The vision of the group will consist of us having Bible studies, real talks, sharing what God has been ministering to us, and expect nothing but participation and not perfection.

S.E.E.K. for Women

Hi, I’m Elizabeth, also known as Liz. I am the creator of S.E.E.K. for Women, a ministry geared toward helping to empower single women and single women with children.

I am a native of the Upstate area in South Carolina. S.E.E.K. For Women was born as a community project during the spring semester of my junior year at Winthrop University.

With my background as a women bible study leader and a childcare provider, my passion for both groups overflowed into this project. While working on this project the Lord directed me to Matthew 6:33 which says,

“But seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness

and all these things shall be added to you.”

It was at this time the acronym S.E.E.K. was born –

Spiritual- Encouragement- Engagement – Knowledge.

Working on this project, I realized my purpose was to help women who find themselves in “stuck situations” become the best version of themselves.

My story has helped me grow spiritually through encouragement from God’s word as well as from others. I have used these learning experiences to encourage other women that they too, can be all the Lord want them to be.

My life experiences have taught me how to live as a saved and single woman. I’ve learned what spiritual warfare is all about, experiencing spiritual freedom, and healthy thinking.

For this reason,

My MISSION is to EMPOWER women to UNLOCK their OWN ability to defeat the odds of life; WOMEN who are ready to TAKE CONTROL and MOVE FORWARD by thinking differently and intentionally and changing habits, that will CREATE a more fulfilling lifestyle.
