All are welcome to come as you are and experience God’s love in community. In 2012 the formerly Rochester First and the Zion United Methodist Church's in Rochester, PA formed together to make the Faith Community United Methodist Church. The Jefferson Site is also

home to our Mission Center were we host all of our community outreach such as the Our Friends Party's, Community meals, a Clothing Drive, and much more.

Life doesn’t always go the way we expect. In this week’s Scripture, Genesis 21:8-21, we encounter a story of uncertainty, struggle, and God’s faithful provision in the wilderness. Even in moments when people feel forgotten or alone, God sees, hears, and provides hope.

If you’ve ever wondered where God is in the middle of life’s challenges, this message is for you.

Beginning in July Pastor Heather will be in charge of two churches. Our church, Faith Community U.M. Church will have their service at 9:30 am and College Avenue United Methodist Church in Beaver will have their service at 11:00 am. Please mark this time change on your calendars. July 5th will be our first service starting at 9:30 am. We hope to see you there!

Have you ever felt unworthy, overlooked, or uncertain about where God is leading you?

This Sunday, we’ll explore two powerful stories of faith and calling. In Genesis 12, God calls Abram to step out in faith and follow Him into the unknown. In Matthew 9, Jesus calls Matthew—a tax collector whom others had written off—and reminds us that He came not for the righteous, but for those who know they need His grace.

We’ll also witness Jesus bringing hope, healing, and new life to those who trusted Him completely.

As we gather around the Lord’s Table for Communion Sunday, we’ll remember that Christ’s invitation is for all of us. No matter where you’ve been or what you’re carrying, there is a place for you at God’s table.
