Pastoral Installation Celebration
Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Mark your calendars and plan to join us for a very special celebration!
The congregations of Community Presbyterian Church of Rochester and Community Presbyterian Church of Plainview, together with the Presbytery of the Twin Cities Area, joyfully invite you to the Service of Installation of the Rev. Pornchai “Paul” Banchasawan as Shared Pastor of our two congregations.

The Installation Celebration will be held:
Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Location: First Presbyterian Church of Rochester

An installation service is much more than welcoming or recognizing a pastor. It is a joyful service of worship in which the pastor, congregations, and Presbytery affirm their covenant to serve Jesus Christ faithfully together.

This is an important milestone in the life and ministry of both congregations, and everyone is warmly encouraged to attend.

Come worship with us, pray with us, celebrate with us, and give thanks to God as we begin this new chapter of ministry together.

Please also invite your family members, friends, former members, community neighbors, and others who would like to share in this joyful occasion.

Let us come together as one family in Christ to celebrate God’s faithfulness and look with hope toward all that God has prepared for the ministry ahead.

"We will not allow the shadow of violence to overcome the light of love."

On Thursday, Aug. 27, Minneapolis will hold a day of service in honor of the Annunciation community. The City invites community members to plant flowers and trees, assemble care kits for youth.
