We think having more will make us worth more.

A bigger house, a better title, more money in the account. But here's what we don't say out loud: we're hoping our stuff will tell us we matter. The problem is, things can never tell you what you're worth. No possession ever will.

The deeper issue isn't greed. It's that we've confused accumulation with value.
The God who made you and loves you is Who determines your worth. 🕊️

Stuff makes a great distraction, but a terrible identity. Your worth was settled before you ever owned a single thing. Your value is determined by the One who made you.

The Rich Fool thought his stuff made him somebody.

Jesus said otherwise. "He said to them, 'Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.'" (Luke 12:15) We need to accept that only God can fully satisfy us in this life. ❤️
