A little reminder from Sunday’s message:

You don’t have to gain the whole world to have a successful life.

You need Christ.

The world measures success by what we possess.

God measures our lives by faithfulness.

So seek Him first.
Trust Him fully.
Serve others.
Give generously.
Love deeply.
Invest in eternity.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” - Matthew 6:33

What the world calls profit may not be profitable at all.

Jesus is still the greatest treasure.

TEMPORARY GAIN. ETERNAL VALUE.

It’s easy to spend our lives chasing what the world calls profitable.

More money.
More possessions.
More recognition.
More comfort.

But none of those things can compare with the value of your soul.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” - Mark 8:36

This week, take a moment to ask yourself:

Am I investing more in what will pass away, or in what will last forever?

One of the greatest dangers in life is trading something eternal for something temporary.

We can become so focused on what we want right now that we lose sight of what God has called us to become.

We chase the dream.

We protect our comfort.

We pursue recognition.

We become busy.

We want the praise.

And somewhere along the way, we forget that the purpose isn’t about us.

All glory belongs to Jesus.

Following Christ requires humility. It requires self-control. It requires honesty when nobody is watching. It requires prayer when we’re busy. It requires service when we would rather be comfortable.

And it requires listening when the Holy Spirit speaks.

Good intentions aren’t enough.

We can intend to do right and still choose wrong.

We can know God’s Word and still harden our hearts.

We can be gifted and still lack discipline.

So today, slow down long enough to listen.

Ask God:

“What are You asking me to surrender?”
“Where have I become self-willed?”
“What am I putting ahead of Your purpose?”

Your calling is worth the sacrifice.

Your obedience matters.

And whatever God has called you to build, build it for His glory.

📖 Romans 12:1–2

Prayer: Jesus, give me the humility to surrender my will, the discipline to obey You, and the courage to pursue the purpose You have given me. Let my life bring glory to You alone. Amen.
