The Indiana Conference disaster response coordinators are working with local officials and clergy to help residents affected by the floods and high winds of this past week. Below is the official way for residents to get on the list to get assistance from our Early Response Teams, the government, and other charitable organizations:
Indiana 211 is accepting damage reports for Franklin, Henry, Lake, LaPorte, Madison, Newton, Porter and Pulaski counties for severe weather impacting these communities beginning Aug. 11.

Pray for the Midwest🙏🏻

Join us in prayer for those impacted by historic levels of flash flooding and severe storms across multiple states in the Midwest United States this week, including Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, and Ohio. Widespread evacuations, damage to homes and businesses, and multiple deaths have been reported, with several areas still under flood watch today.

UMCOR is in close communication with the affected annual conferences, and we stand ready to support their response efforts as they care for their communities in need.
