Favoritism Has No Place in the Family of God

James 2:1-13 challenges us to examine our hearts and how we treat others. It's easy to show attention to those who seem important, influential, or successful, but God calls us to something greater.

As believers, we are reminded that every person is made in God's image and worthy of love, dignity, and respect. The "royal law" Jesus gave us is simple yet powerful: "Love your neighbor as yourself." When we live out this command, we reflect the heart of Christ and demonstrate the mercy we ourselves have received.

This week’s sermon, “Jesus’ Identity on Trial,” from John 10:31–42, walks through the tension surrounding Jesus’ claims and the question every person eventually has to answer: Who is Jesus really?

Even in the middle of accusation, rejection, and unbelief, Jesus remained clear about who He was and the work the Father sent Him to do.

This Sunday’s message, “The Prerogatives of the Good Shepherd,” walks through John 10:14–21 and reminds us of something simple but powerful:

You are known, you are loved, and you belong.

Jesus doesn’t just see us from a distance—He knows His sheep, laid down His life for them, and calls them into one flock under one Shepherd. Even when there’s confusion or opposition around us, His voice remains steady.

This week's message, "The Spiritual Compass" (1 John 4:1-6), reminds us how important it is to discern truth in a world full of competing voices. Not everything that sounds good or spiritual is from God, and Scripture calls us to test what we hear and stay grounded in His truth.

What does it mean that Jesus is the Door and the Good Shepherd?

In today’s sermon, “The Door and the Shepherd: How Jesus Saves, Secures, and Satisfies” (John 10:7–13), we’re reminded that Jesus is the only way to salvation, the one who secures us, satisfies us, and gives true, abundant life. He is the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep.

Take a moment to reflect...what are you trusting to save you, what voice are you following, and where is that path leading?

Sunday Sermon: "The Shepherd that Calls and the Sheep Who Follow" (John 10:1-6)
This message is a powerful reminder that Jesus, our Good Shepherd, knows His sheep personally - He calls them by name, leads them, and they follow because they recognize His voice.

In a world full of noise and distractions, the question is:
👉 Are we listening for His voice?
👉 Are we truly following where He leads?

We also looked at the contrast between the true Shepherd and those who lead people astray - and how important it is to stay close to Him.

Take some time today or this week to watch and reflect on this encouraging word 🙏
