Thank you everyone who participated in the 2016 Worldwide Indexing Event this last weekend. The goal was to have 72,000 participants for this event. The goal was surpassed with 116,475 participants total, and with over 10 million records indexed. The 2016 Worldwide Indexing Event is this weekend, July 15-17. The goal is to have 72,000 volunteers indexing during this 72 hour time period on July 15-17. This is a great opportunity to participate in Family History by making records easier to search online. Volunteers who are fluent in a foreign language are especially appreciated. It's that time again! On April 16th, 2016 from 9:00am-12:30pm, there will be a family history event held at the Riverton FamilySearch Library. Hear Devin Ashby, Project Manager for FamilySearch talk about "What's New in FamilySearch" from 9:00am-10:00am, then participate in classes and other activities from 10:00am-12:30pm. Activities include: Replace-A-Face, where you can insert your face in an old black and white photo, relative finder, where you can find out how you're related to U.S. presidents, authors, and other famous people, coloring books for the kids, and more! Invite your friends and family and come have a great time!

Don't forgot that tomorrow March 19th, 2016 from 9am-12:30pm is the FamilySearch Saturday Seminar with keynote speaker Valerie Elkins as well as the Family Discovery Day with fun activities for all ages (including coloring books for kids). Bring your friends or family and have a great time!

HEY EVERYBODY! Saturday March 19th, 2016 is the FamilySearch Saturday Seminar with keynote speaker Valerie Elkins. In conjunction with the seminar is the Family Discovery Day, with fun activities for all ages. The events are building held in the Riverton Office Building, located on 3740 Market Center Drive, Riverton, UT 84065. Come with your friends, your family (they have coloring books for the kids!), your great-aunt Mildred who loves family history; anyone you think might be interested in these events. Come learn more about your ancestors and have a great time! For more information, refer to the attached posters.

It's that time of year again. We are going to have another Family History Fair this year. It will be held Oct. 22-23. Please read the attached document if you would like to present or help at this fair please follow the instructions. We hope to see you there.

After a very successful day yesterday we are blessed to hear from Diane Loosle, Director of Patron Services at FamilySearch. Come to the Jordan LDS Institute of Religion at about 9000 S and Bangerter. The fireside starts at 6:00 PM. Refreshments will be served.

The 2nd Annual YSA Family History Fair is only a few hours away. Registration and food will be available starting at 9. At 9:30 we will open with a prayer and then our first class starts at 9:40. The will also be one on one consultations available throughout the day. See you there.
