Potluck & Croix Chordsmen Performance: June 14th

The Croix Chordsmen Chorus will be singing three songs for the 10:30 AM service at LMC on Sunday, June 14th. After the service, there will be a potluck meal in the lower level for the Chordsmen and any members who are able to attend. Shredded beef and buns will be provided, but we need side dishes, salads, fruit and veggie trays, and of course, desserts. There is no signup sheet, so just bring an item to share if you are coming. It’s VERY likely the Chordsmen will sing a few more songs after the meal. Any questions? You can call/text Brian Schultz

All-Church Camping Weekend
Summer is here and LMC is going to host the second annual all-church camping outing. The weekend will be filled with games for all ages, a campout potluck, and worship around the campfire on Saturday night. August 14th-16th we have reserved the group camping loop at Highland Ridge Campground in Spring Valley. If you are interested in camping for the weekend, the cost will be $50 per campsite for the weekend. Please reach out to Brandon Fouks or the office to reserve your site. More details to come!

Message Series: A Time For…
We have officially hit the end of school and the beginning of summer. It’s time for baseball games, cookouts, vacations and so much more. There really is a time for everything under the sun, and that’s exactly what we will be diving into this summer in our teaching series on Sunday mornings through the book of Ecclesiastes. Join us as we seek to understand and dive deep into God’s timing for so many of the things we experience on this side of heaven.

Own a Piece of the Puzzle: Fundraising for the lower-level project at LMC
At our last congregational meeting the Board of Directors was given approval to spend up to $60,000 to upgrade the lower level of our church building. The goal of this fundraising appeal is to raise $40,000 above and beyond normal giving to cover the estimated cost of this project.
How your gift can help:
- $25 toward paint
- $50 toward lighting
- $100 toward furniture
- $250 toward flooring
- $500 toward closets
- $1000 toward paid labor
- $2500 toward appliances
- $5000 toward cabinetry
- KIDS $1 per puzzle piece-entered into a drawing at the end for prizes (tee shirts also given to kids buying puzzle pieces)

Following the ceremony all are invited to a Legion Auxiliary free-will offering luncheon at Post 121, 701 N. Main St.
