The Two Kids Who Stacked Under One Coat to Sneak Into the Movies
An absurd viral shot has continued to do the rounds online, showing what is very obviously just two kids stacked up on top of each other inside a single oversized trench coat. The whole cheeky plan was simply to buy one cinema ticket rather than two. The suspiciously tall figure, complete with a beige coat and a fedora perched slightly too high, is caught mid that stiff "I am definitely one adult" pose.
Everyone immediately knew what they were looking at here, of course, as it is the same classic gag that whole generations had grown up watching play out in their cartoons. The shot itself was actually taken back in February 2018, at a movie theater over in California, with the two hopeful boys attempting the trick to sneak into a screening of Black Panther.
Sadly for them, the sharp-eyed theater manager and the ticket staff had all spotted the little ruse right away. They simply told the disguised little pair that they had to "get down" then buy two separate tickets after all. The relatable moment also resonated hard, with one commenter admitting they had always wanted to try the exact same thing as a kid.
