What does it look like to live a life that truly matters?
The book of Ecclesiastes takes an honest look at life “under the sun” and exposes the emptiness of chasing pleasure, success, wealth and control.

In this 10-week series, we’ll wrestle with life’s biggest questions: Why does life feel so fleeting? Why do our efforts fall short? Is there anything that actually lasts?

As we walk through Ecclesiastes, we’ll discover that while everything in this world is temporary, a life rooted in fearing God and trusting Him is never wasted.
In a vapor-like world, God shows us what it means to live for what truly lasts.

This message, WISDOM IN A CONFUSING WORLD, comes out of Ecclesiastes 7:1-14 & 8:1-17.

In a world filled with uncertainty, conflicting voices and questions we can't always answer, where do we turn for wisdom?

This , spend some time with “Perfect Wisdom of Our God” by Keith and Kristyn Getty—a beautiful reminder that while our understanding is limited, God's wisdom is perfect. He sees what we cannot, knows what we do not, and remains faithful even when life doesn't make sense.

That theme resonates deeply with Ecclesiastes 7 & 8, which we'll explore this Sunday as part of our LIFE THAT LASTS sermon series. Solomon doesn't pretend life is simple or that every question has an easy answer. Instead, he points us toward the wisdom of trusting God even when we don't understand His ways.
When the world feels confusing, we don't need to have every answer. We just need to know the One who does.

What’s one voice, influence or source of “noise” you could get rid of this so you can hear God more clearly?

📱 Maybe it’s the endless scroll.
🎬 Maybe it’s the constant stream of opinions.
🗣️ Maybe it’s a person whose influence is pulling your heart away from God.
🌎 Maybe it’s simply too much of the world competing for your attention.

Hebrews 12:1 reminds us to “lay aside every weight” and run with endurance. Sometimes taking a step toward wisdom means taking a step away from the noise.

This Sunday, we’ll be in Ecclesiastes 7 & 8 considering what it looks like to pursue wisdom in a confusing world.
We may not be able to silence every voice around us, but we can choose which voices deserve our attention.
