This Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day:

We give thanks for mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, adoptive mothers, spiritual mothers, and all who nurture others with love and faithfulness.

And we also remember those for whom this season is difficult — those carrying the pain of infertility, birth trauma, pregnancy loss, child loss, strained relationships, grief for mothers who are gone, or the deep longing to be seen and loved.

God meets us in celebration and in sorrow alike.
