What changes when we truly understand that we are **children of God?** 🤍

Elder Hutch U. Fale teaches that knowing we are His children helps us **better understand Jesus Christ** and become:

**“Quick to repent, slow to judge, and ever hopeful that the best is yet before us.”**

It also protects us from the lie that **“it is too late for someone to change.”**

What a powerful promise—for ourselves **and for our children.**

When we understand who we are to God, it can change the way we see:

✨ Ourselves
✨ Others
✨ Our mistakes
✨ Our potential
✨ And the possibility of what comes next

Who we are to God can change the way we see everything.**

And maybe one of the greatest gifts we can give our children is helping them know, deep down, whose they are!

Have you ever had one your kids can seem like a totally different person after just a few conversations with their friends… or after watching something on YouTube? 😳

Our kids are surrounded by influences all day long, and they are SO impressionable.

And I hear this from parents all the time: “I don’t want to bring that topic up because I don’t want to put ideas in their heads.”

But here’s the thing…

Not talking about it doesn’t make them less likely to encounter it. It can actually mean they’re navigating these situations without the words, confidence, or tools to know what to do.

I’m SO passionate about being the first voice my kids hear when it comes to these important conversations that I wrote three books to help parents do exactly that. ❤️

My 30 Days of S*x Talks for Latter-day Saint Families books are for all parents as they address kids:

As Latter-day Saint parents, we believe every child is a beloved son or daughter of God, including our amazing children who are questioning or LGBTQ-identified. That belief doesn’t become easier when we think about what those kids may be encountering online.

Research shows LGBTQ youth are 2–3x more likely to be groomed, exploited, or harassed in digital spaces. Online predators deliberately seek out young people who feel isolated or are exploring their identity outside their family.

The App Store Accountability Act is the strongest child safety measure in front of Congress right now. It doesn’t block crisis lines, school counselors, or web-based support. It holds tech companies accountable at the point where children enter the digital world.

Protecting children online isn’t in conflict with loving them fully. It’s part of it.

We believe LGBTQ youth deserve safety AND support. This article makes the case for both.

General Conference with kids takes a little creativity.

I found something that feels different from the usual Conference printables.

The Animals Go to General Conference poster is one giant activity scene full of things to discover like a maze, dot-to-dot, dinosaurs going to the Conference Center.

And the Noah’s Ark notebook is designed to help kids listen and learn. My favorite part is that kids start looking forward to turning the page to see what’s next.

Such a clever way to keep kids engaged. Definitely save this for Conference weekend.
