As Latter-day Saint parents, we believe every child is a beloved son or daughter of God, including our amazing children who are questioning or LGBTQ-identified. That belief doesn’t become easier when we think about what those kids may be encountering online.

Research shows LGBTQ youth are 2–3x more likely to be groomed, exploited, or harassed in digital spaces. Online predators deliberately seek out young people who feel isolated or are exploring their identity outside their family.

The App Store Accountability Act is the strongest child safety measure in front of Congress right now. It doesn’t block crisis lines, school counselors, or web-based support. It holds tech companies accountable at the point where children enter the digital world.

Protecting children online isn’t in conflict with loving them fully. It’s part of it.

We believe LGBTQ youth deserve safety AND support. This article makes the case for both.

General Conference with kids takes a little creativity.

I found something that feels different from the usual Conference printables.

The Animals Go to General Conference poster is one giant activity scene full of things to discover like a maze, dot-to-dot, dinosaurs going to the Conference Center.

And the Noah’s Ark notebook is designed to help kids listen and learn. My favorite part is that kids start looking forward to turning the page to see what’s next.

Such a clever way to keep kids engaged. Definitely save this for Conference weekend.
