The author hasn't done his homework. Scripture doesn't claim to answer our every question, but to reveal the way of salvation in Christ Jesus alone. "These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name" [John 20:31] cf. also John 21:25; John 5:39-40

"From the Apollo 8 crew reading the Genesis account while viewing Earth from space on Christmas day 1968 to Jared Isaacman, current NASA administrator, reporting that his time in space convinced him that 'the heavens declare the glory of God,' human space travel has often mixed scientific exploration with religious affirmation."

In Bible times the Palm tree signified rest, shade and refreshment for desert travelers. Over the ages, palm branches became a symbol of victory. It was on that first Palm Sunday that people scattered palm branches along the road in celebration of Jesus' triumphal entry into the city of Jerusalem. In the apostle's vision of heaven (Revelation 7), John witnessed a great multitude of faithful Christians wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands. They cried out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” In New Testament times, palms have been placed on the tombs of faithful Christians to express their victory over death through Christ's resurrection (John 14:19).

"Homoousios" (same substance or essence) correctly describes what was already revealed in Scripture. See John 10:30-33. (Jesus said, "I and the Father are one"). By their reaction, the Jews showed exactly how they understood what Jesus had said. They accused him of blasphemy. The church recognized God's revelation by Scripture, not pagan philosophy, as the origin of Bible doctrine. Philosophy did not "shape Christianity" as the title suggests.

Plato’s philosophy shaped the early theology of Christianity and influenced the doctrine of the Holy Trinity at Nicaea.

Jesus cleansed the temple on two separate occasions: once at the beginning of His public ministry and again near the end, demonstrating His zeal for pure worship and authority over the temple.

On Monday of Holy Week, Jesus entered the Temple Courts, and violently threw out those selling goods in what was supposed to be the House of God.

Jesus was anointed to be our Prophet, Priest, and King. As our Prophet, he proclaims God’s message of sin and grace. Kirk E. Lahmann When you think of a prophet, who comes to mind? A fire-and-brimstone preacher with a long beard and a wooden staff? An aged seer predicting future doom and gloom?
