We would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped us by sharing information, spreading the word, and assisting in locating it. Your support truly means so much to us.
With this situation resolved, the cemetery will return to normal hours and will remain open as usual.
We deeply appreciate our community and the continued trust you place in us to care for your loved ones.

Con mucha tristeza queremos informar que alguien robó nuestra troca, la cual usamos para tirar la tierra en las tumbas dentro de nuestro cementerio. Esta situación es muy dolorosa y profundamente irrespetuosa — no solo hacia nuestro personal, sino especialmente hacia las familias que confían en nosotros para el cuidado de sus seres queridos.
Debido a esta lamentable situación, estaremos cerrando las puertas del cementerio todos los días a las 6:00 PM. Las puertas volverán a abrir a las 9:00 AM, cuando la oficina abra.
Nosotros nos enorgullece cuidar a nuestras familias y a sus seres queridos. Nuestra prioridad siempre ha sido proteger y mantener la dignidad, la paz y el respeto que cada familia merece. Estamos haciendo este cambio para prevenir cualquier otro robo o daño, ya que no queremos que nada les suceda a las pertenencias o memoriales de sus seres queridos.
Esta situación es realmente triste y decepcionante. Agradecemos su comprensión y la confianza que continúan depositando en nosotros mientras trabajamos para mantener nuestro cementerio seguro para todos.

‼️Stolen Vehicle Alert‼️
We are saddened to share that someone has stolen our truck, which we use to dump dirt at the graves in our cemetery. This is extremely heartbreaking and deeply disrespectful — not only to our staff, but especially to the families who trust us with the care of their loved ones.
Because of this unfortunate situation, we will now be closing the cemetery gates daily at 6:00 PM. The gates will reopen at 9:00 AM, when the office opens.
We take great pride in caring for our families and their loved ones. Our priority has always been to protect and maintain the dignity, peace, and respect that every family deserves. We are making this change to help prevent any further theft or harm, as we would never want anything to happen to the belongings or memorials of your loved ones.
This situation is truly sad and disappointing. We appreciate your understanding and continued trust as we work to keep our cemetery safe and secure for everyone.

A todas nuestras apreciadas familias de La Paz Cemetery,
Les pedimos amablemente su cooperación para seguir las reglas y reglamentos del cementerio y así ayudarnos a preservar la belleza, dignidad y seguridad del lugar de descanso de sus seres queridos.

Recientemente hemos tenido varios incidentes que pudieron haberse evitado. Los sistemas de riego y las tuberías de agua han sufrido daños debido a vehículos que circulan por áreas restringidas. También hemos observado marcas de llantas en áreas donde debe haber césped, así como daños en lápidas y bancas. Estas situaciones nos afectan a todos y alteran el ambiente de paz que nos esforzamos por mantener.

Nuestro objetivo es que cada familia tenga la tranquilidad de saber que sus seres queridos descansan en un lugar seguro, respetuoso y hermoso — un lugar que puedan visitar con orgullo y serenidad. Lamentablemente, esto no puede continuar si no se respetan las normas del cementerio.

Entendemos que estas acciones no reflejan el comportamiento de la mayoría de nuestras familias. Sin embargo, estamos abordando esta situación de manera general para crear conciencia y asegurarles que estamos tomando medidas para proteger y mantener nuestras instalaciones.

Important Notice to Our La Paz Cemetery Families

To all of our valued families at La Paz Cemetery,
We kindly ask for your cooperation in following our cemetery rules and regulations to help us preserve the beauty, dignity, and safety of your loved ones’ resting place.
Recently, we have experienced several preventable issues on the grounds. Sprinkler systems and water pipes have been damaged due to vehicles driving over restricted areas. We have also seen tire marks where there should be grass, as well as damage to tombstones and benches. These situations affect everyone and take away from the peaceful environment we strive to provide.

Our goal is for every family to feel confident that their loved ones are resting in a safe, respectful, and beautiful place — somewhere you can visit with pride and peace of mind. Unfortunately, that cannot continue if cemetery policies are not followed.

We understand that these actions do not reflect the behavior of the majority of our families. However, we are addressing this matter generally to bring awareness and to assure everyone that we are actively working to protect and maintain the cemetery grounds.
We sincerely appreciate those who park only in designated areas and consistently follow our regulations. Your cooperation truly makes a difference.

Please help us keep our cemetery beautiful and free from unnecessary damage. Together, we can preserve this sacred space for all families.
