“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” — Psalm 23:1

As we gather this Sunday, let us remember that God is our Shepherd. No matter what challenges, worries, or uncertainties we face, He faithfully leads, provides, and protects us. When life feels overwhelming, we can find peace knowing that we are never walking alone.

Psalm 23 reminds us that God restores our souls, guides us in the right direction, and remains with us even through life’s darkest valleys. His presence gives us strength, comfort, and hope.

Today, trust in His guidance, rest in His promises, and be encouraged by His unfailing love. May God’s goodness and mercy follow you and your family throughout this week.

Have a blessed Sunday! 🙏❤️

Blessed Morning, Church Family
From Church of the Living God Community Church

As we enter a new week, let us be reminded of God’s protection, love, and faithfulness. When we make the Lord our dwelling place, His presence becomes our shield, His promises our strength, and His angels our protection.

May Psalm 91 bring comfort and encouragement to your heart today.

Psalm 91 (NIV)

1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,

10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

No matter what challenges may arise, remember that God is your refuge and strength. His love surrounds you, His angels go before you, and His promises will never fail.

Have a blessed morning and a victorious week.

Good Afternoon All! On yesterday, Pastor Caruth continued his curriculum on God's Grace in Suffering taken from I Peter 3:13-5:11. He discussed 4 main principles:

I: Don't Be Scared in the Midst of Suffering I Peter 4:12
II: Don't Be Surprised in the Midst of Suffering I Peter 4:13
III: Be Selective in the Midst of Suffering I Peter 4:13b
IV: Be Spirited in the Midst of Suffering I Peter 4:14

Pastor Caruth discussed in depth about how believers attitudes should be in the midst of suffering. He went on to discuss how suffering for Christ's sake should be expected and that we should take pride in it. He reminded us to ensure that the suffering that we endure is worth it and indeed for Christ sake and not self-inflicted. He encouraged us to be followers of Christ mimicking his example and not mere fans of Christ.

A few of key takeaways are to remember to trust in the sovereignty of God and align ourselves with Christ by sacrificing our time, treasure, talent and temple for his glory. Also, do not be afraid when we are in the midst of suffering, but rejoice instead.

Have a blessed and productive week on purpose!!
