Have you ever stopped to think about what a pastor really is?
Some people think a pastor is simply a man who
stands behind a pulpit on Sunday morning, opens his Bible, and preaches a sermon.
But oh, my friend, a pastor is so much more than that.
A pastor is a man who has answered a call that most people will never fully understand.
He is a shepherd appointed by God to watch over
souls. He is a preacher of righteousness, a defender of truth, a warrior in prayer, and a servant to the people God has placed in his care.
He is the man who stands behind the pulpit and
preaches heaven sweet, and hell hot, not because he wants to offend anyone, but because he loves their souls too much to watch them perish.
He is the man who will tell you the truth when the
truth isn't popular.
He will preach holiness when the world preaches
compromise.
He will stand for righteousness when everyone else is bowing to the pressures of this world.
Because a real pastor isn't trying to win a popularity contest. He's trying to help souls make it to Heaven!

We say thank you for loving us.
Thank you for leading us.
Thank you for praying for us.
Thank you for standing in the gap for us.
And most of all...
Thank you for helping us find our way HOME!
May God strengthen your hands, encourage your
hearts, bless your homes, and reward your
faithfulness.
And may we, as your church family, never forget that while you have been faithfully watching over us, we have a responsibility to faithfully love, honor, and pray for you.
Because a good pastor is a blessing.
A faithful pastor's wife is a treasure.
And a church that has both...
Is blessed beyond measure!
