When the Israelites complained against God in the wilderness, they faced deadly consequences as venomous serpents spread throughout the camp. Yet even in their rebellion, God demonstrated His incredible mercy by providing a simple but unexpected way for them to be saved: look upon the bronze serpent lifted up by Moses and live.

In this message, “The Bronze Serpent,” we explore how this Old Testament event points directly to Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross. Just as the Israelites had to look to the bronze serpent in faith to be healed, we must look to Jesus Christ in faith to be saved from the deadly consequences of sin.

We'll examine the simplicity of salvation, the depth of God's mercy and grace, and the difference between complaining against God and bringing our struggles to Him in prayer.

Jesus Himself made this powerful connection in John 3:14-15, reminding us that just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, the Son of Man must also be lifted up so that whoever believes in Him may have eternal life.

The message is simple: Look to Jesus and be saved!

In Joshua 20, God commanded the establishment of six cities of refuge throughout Israel. These cities provided protection for those who had accidentally taken another person's life, offering a place of safety from the avenger of blood until justice could be determined.

But these cities of refuge reveal something much greater about God's plan of redemption.

In this message, we explore the biblical role of the avenger of blood, the responsibility of the kinsman redeemer, and the significance of the high priest. Through these Old Testament laws, we discover a beautiful picture of God's perfect balance of justice, mercy, and grace.

Just as the cities of refuge offered protection from judgment, Jesus Christ is our eternal refuge. Through His death on the cross, He satisfied the demands of God's law and made forgiveness and salvation available to all who place their trust in Him.

Our only hope is found in Jesus Christ, our perfect High Priest and eternal refuge.

Join us as we study Joshua 20 and discover how the ancient cities of refuge point us to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

We owed a debt we could never pay. Jesus paid a debt He never owed.

In “Jesus our Kinsman Redeemer,” we explore Leviticus 25:25–34 and God’s provision for restoring family property and redeeming those who had fallen into bo***ge. From the Year of Jubilee to the story of Ruth and Boaz, these pictures of redemption point us toward Jesus Christ.

A kinsman redeemer had to be a close relative, willing to act, and able to pay the price. Jesus became one of us, willingly gave His life, and purchased our redemption with His precious blood. Through Him, we receive forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and adoption into His family—no longer slaves, but sons and daughters and heirs through Christ.

Discover the hope and new life available to all who place their trust in our perfect Kinsman Redeemer.

What are your eyes fixed on?

In Hebrews 12, we are reminded to lay aside every weight, run the race before us with endurance, and above all, look to Jesus. The Christian life is not about being distracted by what is temporary—it is about keeping our eyes on the One who is eternal.

In this message, “Fix Your Eyes,” we look at two important truths:

1. Look Unto Jesus
Jesus is not simply part of the race—He is the prize. Nothing this world offers can compare with knowing Him. When our hearts truly see the worth of Christ, everything else begins to take its proper place.

2. Look Unto Eternity
The things we see around us are temporary, but the things of God are eternal. What is eternal must change the way we live in the temporary. Our suffering, success, possessions, priorities, and plans all look different when viewed through the lens of eternity.

As we run the race God has placed before us, may we forget what lies behind, reach forward to what lies ahead, and keep pressing toward the prize—with our eyes fixed firmly on Jesus.

The Student Ministry Team is hosting a Parent/Guardian Night from **5:30–6:30 PM**!

Here’s what to expect:
***Doors open right after school for students
* **5:30–6:00 PM:** Food and fellowship
* **6:00–6:30 PM:** Worship, an overview of our upcoming teaching topics and sermon series, and practical ways guardians can be involved in their student’s spiritual walk and our ministry.

We look forward to connecting with you and partnering together to help our students grow in their faith!
