The 2026 Milk and Honey Festival
How sweet it was — and not only because of the honey vendors! On Sunday, McKinley Art & Culture Center park was transformed by Jewish Nevada and participating vendors (Temple Emanu-El being one, of course) into a combination Jewish community gathering and craft fair. We had the fun of meeting new folks and seeing old friends, shopping, listening to Jewish country music star Joe Buchanan, doing Israeli dancing, eating Israeli-Mediterranean food, hanging out with other TEE members, and did I mention shopping? Kudos to Mara Langer and her crew, including Brigitta Rosenbaum and Eve Cohen, for a safe and fantastically well-organized event, and to our volunteers who set up and staffed our booth.
