ry as much as they were when He walked the earth. His practical words remind us that our need for daily nourishment goes beyond physical food – we also require the nourishment for our spirits found in the Word of God. We desire that each member of our church continue to grow and mature as a Christian and become more like Jesus in every area of their life [Col. 1:28]. We also emphasize the importance of families. We believe that if the families are strong then the church will be strong. We desire and seek to embrace all Churches and/or Fellowships, whose members have had a true born-again experience, with the right hand of fellowship with Jesus Christ as our mutual head and Lord. Our Focus We believe that accomplishing the purpose God has given us will happen best when we emphasize: Expressing meaningful worship and prayer – So we want our worship services to move our hearts toward God, we encourage prayer individually and with others. Responding to God’s Word – We emphasize relevant Bible teaching regarding how to respond to God in the light of life’s realities. Reaching lost people – We’re committed to helping lost people come to know Jesus Christ personally so they can receive the forgiveness of their sins and become children of God who will spend eternity with Him and with His people in heaven. Developing Godly maturity in children, youth and adults - We start by putting a special emphasis on establishing and maintaining godly marriages and families. We also offer Christian education and activities for all ages. Promoting Biblical community – So we are always trying to create contexts for encouragement and relationships where true Christian love is lived out in practical ways. Small groups are one means we utilize. Equipping and releasing people for ministry – Because the body builds itself up in love as each part does its work, we strive to help everyone become connected to vital and meaningful ministry. Developing leaders – We believe that for us to become the people and church God wants us to be, we must be led well. That’s why we strive to develop and release leaders who shepherd, teach, guide, and model what it means to be fully devoted followers of Christ.
