This Sunday is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (also known as Corpus Christi), and it celebrates the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Highlighting that the bread and wine are not merely symbols, but are truly and substantially the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ. It is a profound reminder of God’s self-giving love, inviting us as Catholics to be spiritually nourished and transformed to become Christ's hands and feet in the world.

Bible Verse of the Day: John 6:37 tells us that whoever comes to the Father, comes to Jesus, and whoever comes to Jesus will not be rejected. Jesus embraces everyone who comes his way, He will never turn his back on anyone who comes to him.

Wednesdays are for Women of the Bible. We are starting a series focusing on women in the Bible. This week is Eve. She was the very first woman in the Bible and was "to give life." In Genesis 2, God tells Adam and Eve that they can eat from any tree in the Garden of Eden, except for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. However, in Genesis 3, Satan tempts Eve with the fruit of the tree, and she eats it. Eve then gives some of the fruit to Adam. Eve’s story shows us how it is important to be obedient and faithful and to avoid the temptation of the enemy. It also shows us that women are a vital part of God’s plan. From the very beginning, God created, blessed and gave dominion over the earth to both men and women. We need each other. Together, we form the complete image of God and can reflect him to all of creation.

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity celebrates the central mystery of the Catholic faith: that God is one in essence but three distinct Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Its core message is that God is a communion of perfect, self-giving love, inviting humanity into a life-giving relationship. 2 Corinthians 13:14 really captures this by saying: "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."
