A little Tuesday humor:
Good News Clubs are meticulously planned and prepared for with the goal of making sure we honor every minute of the Lord’s time. With that being said, we minister to CHILDREN so anything can happen.
Last week one of our leaders was reviewing the lesson and prompted a ‘fill-in-the-blank’ question:
“Before Jesus went back to Heaven, He promised His disciples that they would receive___________”
One of the children answered, “the internet!”
Game over. 🤣

"At a Good News Club's conclusion, the 30 kids in attendance were given Good News Club t-shirts. One of the little boys went home and, with his new shirt on, he went to stand at the front of his driveway. He was holding a sign he made asking if people wanted to know more about God. One neighbor stopped to talk to him, and he gave her one of the New Testament Bibles he got from Good News Club!"

This week our Good News Club kids learned that Easter is a time to remember that Jesus died for our sins on the cross and that He was raised on the third day. Many of our clubs did party clubs! One club told the story of Lazarus and how Jesus raised him from the dead.

What a fun day at the Tehama Children’s Fair in Corning, trying out our new Wordless Book tent! We were able to share Jesus with 50 kids. One little girl was so excited to share how she trusted in Jesus at one of our Good News Clubs! 🙌🏼

Meet our new Shasta County Field Missionary, Ashlinn Boyd!
Ashlinn writes:

"I'm Ashlinn Boyd and I am so grateful for the opportunity to share the gospel with children through CEF as the Shasta County Field Missionary. God called me to child evangelism about three years ago. Since then, God has faithfully provided opportunity after opportunity, and through every challenge and season of uncertainty, I have chosen to do the only thing I know—simply say “yes.” Over the past three years as an assistant manager at a sporting facility, God has been faithfully shaping me through both my administrative work and my involvement in children’s ministry, preparing me for this opportunity with CEF.
Fun Facts:
I love the outdoors; my ideal outing would be relaxing at the lake, fishing, and soaking up the sun.
I am the oldest of 5 children.
I served with Children's Rescue Mission Nepal."
