๐Ÿ“…On this day....

Today we remember Gethsemane Cemetery's founder, Monsignor George Bornemann, who passed away 102 years ago today.

A faithful servant of the Church, Monsignor Bornemann dedicated his life to shepherding souls, strengthening his parish community, and witnessing to Christ through humble service. His legacy is not only found in the history he helped shape, but in the countless lives touched by his ministry, compassion, and devotion.

As we mark this anniversary, we offer prayers of gratitude for his life and priesthood. May his example continue to inspire us, and may he rest in the peace of the Lord he so faithfully served. โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
