Matthew 11:28 COME to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest

My wife and I were on the front porch relaxing recently, she said something that stirred in me

She said: most believers don’t see the rest because instead of COMING to Him- shame and guilt causes them to run FROM Him

So I began meditating on that scripture and I found something powerful happens in verses 29 and 30 He says: take my yoke upon you and learn from me- for I am gentle, and lowly in heart- my yoke is easy and my burden light….

Jesus connects REST to REVELATION of who He is

I’ve told you that recently the Lord said to me “You’ll receive and see more of Me if you’ll stop judging my faithfulness by what I’ve done and start judging My faithfulness but Who I Am”

When we REST in Him, we learn more about Him and when we learn more about Him we receive more FROM Him

Let’s Read this Confession Together

I confess that God’s Word has a central place in my life. I regularly read God’s Word and meditate on its truths; therefore, my mind is being renewed with the Word day by day. As a result, that Word decks me out — equipping, outfitting, and furnishing me with all the spiritual gear I need to take the adventurous trip God has planned for my life. With God’s Word fitted tightly in place, I am ready to set sail and follow wherever the Holy Spirit leads!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? — Romans 8:31

Sometimes you need to stop counting WHAT is against you and remember WHO is for you

Paul didn’t say nothing or no one would ever come against us- He simply reminded us that nothing coming against us is greater than the God who is FOR us

That changes your perspective

Stop giving opposition more attention than the One who has already promised to be for you

Lift your head
Strengthen your faith
Expect His goodness
Move forward with confidence

If God is for you, nothing against you matters

Go into today knowing—you have Heaven’s backing 🙌🔥

Let’s Read this Confession Together

I confess that my heart is free of bitterness, resentment, strife, and unforgiveness. God’s Spirit lives in me, and He doesn’t allow me to keep living with wrong attitudes in my life. He speaks to me when I begin to think poorly of others; He convicts me of every wrong attitude; and He helps me bring my thoughts under His control. Because my mind and emotions are controlled by the Spirit of God, I think only positive thoughts about those who are near or around me. If any negative thoughts about someone else try to enter my mind, the Holy Spirit quickly helps me recognize them and bring correction to the way I am thinking!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Philippians 3

Let’s Read this Confession Together

I declare that I have confessed all my past sins and mistakes. Therefore, I am forgiven; I am clean; and I am free in the sight of the Lord. He does not hold my past against me. He is my Redeemer, my Restorer, my Deliverer, and my Salvation. His Spirit is operating in me right now to get me out of every mess I have created, both intentionally and unintentionally. My heart is repentant, and my desire is to do what is right. Therefore, God is helping me walk out of the problems that have tried to grip my mind and my life!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Philippians 2

Let’s Read this Confession Together

I confess that I speak the truth and that I don’t exaggerate the facts or speak lies! When people talk to me, they can count on the fact that I don’t embellish the truth or twist the facts to my advantage. They can rest assured that I’m honest about myself and the situations in which I find myself. I keep my nose out of other people’s business and concern myself instead with those issues that have to do with me and my areas of responsibility. Because God is my Helper and His grace is working mightily in me, I am becoming more and more honest every day!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Philippians 1

Let’s Read this Confession Together

I confess that I am led by the Spirit of God! Because I cooperate with Him, I don’t waste valuable time, energy, or money, and I don’t shed a lot of unnecessary tears. I gladly let the Holy Spirit lead me, since He sees what I can’t see; knows what I don’t know; and understands the best routes, the most efficient shortcuts, and the safest paths to take. As a result, He leads me past every attack; He helps me avoid each strategy of the devil; and He safely guides me to the place where God wants me to be!

Ephesians 6

Let’s Read this Confession Together

I confess that by God’s grace, I am making my present situation more and more glorious! I have asked the Holy Spirit to open my eyes and to help me see those parts of my life that need to be transformed. As He shows me these areas, I will diligently pray about them and do everything I can to allow God to change me so this present season of my life can become glorious. Because the Holy Spirit sees my willingness to go through the necessary transformation process, He is preparing to move me upward into a more glorious phase in my life. I am going from glory to glory!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Ephesians 5

Let’s Read this Confession Together

I confess that I bear good fruit in the lives of people whom God has called me to help! They are growing! They are prospering! They are learning to overcome the evil one! They are strong, stable, resilient, reliable, faithful, and committed to do whatever it takes for them to fulfill the assignment Jesus Christ has given them. My fruit is good fruit — fruit that remains! In this I know that my Father is glorified, because I am producing the kind of fruit that brings glory to His name!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love." – Deuteronomy 7:9

People may let us down. Circumstances may change. But God has never broken a promise and never will. Looking back on this month, His faithfulness has been evident in ways we noticed and in ways we probably missed. The same God who carried you yesterday will carry you tomorrow.

Take a few minutes today to reflect on where you've seen God's faithfulness this month, and thank Him for every moment.

Let’s Read this Confession Together

I confess that I deal diligently with my heart to keep it in good shape. I don’t make excuses for rotten attitudes that try to fill my thoughts about people who have wronged me. Even if they really did commit a wrong, I refuse to let the devil use it to eat me up and ruin me. I am the bishop of my own heart, so I refuse to let wrong attitudes fester, take root, and begin to produce bad fruit in me!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Let’s Read this Confession Together

I confess that I have a job to do and that I’m going to do it! I will not jeopardize my destiny by succumbing to the discouraging voice of the enemy. If the boat is going to move, I must do my part to move it. Whether or not I ever hear the words “thank you” from anyone, I am the servant of God, and I will do my service as unto Him!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!
