Is Celebrate Recovery for you?

Have you ever thought, “Celebrate Recovery isn’t for someone like me”?

Maybe you don’t struggle with drugs or alcohol. Maybe you don’t even know exactly what you’re struggling with… you just know something in your life needs healing.

Celebrate Recovery is for anyone dealing with a hurt, hang-up, or habit that is keeping them from living in the freedom God intended.

Maybe it’s…

• Anxiety or fear
• Anger or resentment
• Grief or loss
• Rejection or abandonment
• Codependency
• People-pleasing
• Control
• Unforgiveness
• Shame
• Relationship struggles
• Childhood wounds
• Food issues
• Addiction
• Or simply pain you’ve carried for far too long

You don’t have to hit rock bottom to walk through the doors of Celebrate Recovery.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

You don’t even have to know what to call what you’re struggling with.

You just have to be willing to take the first step.

So… is Celebrate Recovery for you?

If you have a hurt, hang-up, or habit…

YES. There’s a place for you here. ❤️

Celebrate Recovery is MORE than drugs & alcohol. ❤️‍🩹

One of the biggest misconceptions about Celebrate Recovery is that you have to struggle with drugs or alcohol to belong here.

You don't.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, safe place where we can face life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits from A to Z, with Jesus Christ leading the way.

Maybe your struggle is anger.
Maybe it's anxiety.
Maybe it's codependency or control.
Maybe it's grief, fear, forgiveness, food issues, gambling, people-pleasing, po*******hy, relationship struggles, resentment, or something you've never told anyone about.

You don't have to wait until your life is falling apart to ask for help.

We ALL have something.

And at Celebrate Recovery, you don't have to pretend that everything is okay. You can find a Forever Family that will walk alongside you as you pursue healing, freedom, and a deeper relationship with Jesus.

📖 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 NIV

🙏 Let's pray:

Jesus, thank You for meeting us exactly where we are. Give us the courage to face the areas of our lives that need healing and the humility to ask for help. Break down the walls of shame, fear, and isolation that keep us from experiencing the freedom You have for us. Surround us with people who will encourage us, challenge us, pray with us, and point us back to You. Lead the way as we take our next step toward healing.

In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏

No matter what letter of the alphabet your struggle begins with, there's a place for you at Celebrate Recovery.

There was a time in my life when people-pleasing was my biggest downfall.

I chased success. I chased approval. I chased acceptance. I spent so much energy trying to make everyone else happy that I slowly drifted away from the One who mattered most.

Every so often, I have to stop and take an honest look at my life and ask myself:

Who am I putting in front of God?
Whose approval am I really chasing?

Jesus said in Matthew 6:24 (NIV):

"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other."

While Jesus was specifically teaching about money in this passage, the principle challenges every competing loyalty in our lives, including the desire to live for the approval of others. I can't make people my master and expect God to remain first in my life.

Freedom began for me when I stopped living for people's applause and started living for God's approval. It's a daily decision to surrender my heart to Him.

Has God ever shown you an area where you were seeking people's approval more than His?

Did you know that holding grudges can be a hang-up?

Holding a grudge may feel like we’re protecting ourselves from being hurt again, but often it keeps us connected to the very pain we’re trying to escape.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was okay.
It means we’re choosing not to let what happened keep controlling us.

Recovery begins when we stop carrying what God is asking us to release.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32
