We are a Christ centered, nondenominational, multicultural, loving, come as you are church where the unchurched are welcome. As of June 2012 the church has been located in the City of Sacramento for the past 16 years. Spirit and Truth began with 8 members in the home of our Pastor own A. The church currently ministers to approximately
500 congregants each week. Spirit and Truth is unique in that it reaches many unchurched and unsaved people as well as those who have been hurt by religious organizations in the past. The church offers all new members an orientation lunch, and Spirit and Truth Life Development classes. WHAT WE BELIEVE:
We believe the word of God is true and applicable to every part of our lives. We believe in the unity of all blood bought believers regardless of race or denomination. We believe in the power of the Holy Ghost to empower the church with supernatural ability to do His will. We believe that Jesus Christ lived on this earth as the almighty God in the flesh, was crucified for our sins, raised for our justification, and is now in the glory of Heaven making intercession for us. We believe in water baptism for all who profess faith in Christ as an act of faithful obedience. We believe in the Lord’s Supper as a church ordinance to be regularly observed in remembrance of Christ our Lord. We believe in the sovereign grace of God as it pertains to salvation, and the inherent inability of man to redeem himself in any way. OUR 7 CORE VALUES:
1) Jesus Christ is the focus of our faith and center of our church.
2) We don’t promote or exalt man, or manmade organizations.
3) Worship, fellowship, ministry, growth,evangalism are essential to our life purpose.
4) God’s love, grace, and mercy are the foundation of our fath and relationships.
5) Accepting God’s word and rejoicing in truth is our Joy.
6) Your people are vitally important and worth investing in.
7) Denomination, racism, classism, or division of any kind is not of God.
