Saint Christopher Catholic Church

Saint Christopher Catholic Church Mass Schedule: Saturday-4 pm, Sunday-8 & 11 am, Monday & Friday-9 am, and Wednesday-6 pm. Confessions: Wednesday 5-5:45 pm and Saturday 3-3:45 pm. Earl J. B.

August 25, 1958 marked the date that Archbishop John A. Floersh, Archbishop of Louisville, established the parish of Saint Christopher, Martyr. This founding came just two years following the incorporation of Radcliff, KY as a city in 1956. In September of 1959, a school was opened in two classrooms. By March of 1960 construction of the church, school, and rectory was completed! Over the years our

parish school grew to a K-8 school with a maximum of 198 students. We were glad to have had a school, but because of declining enrollment and financial difficulties, our parish school was clossed on May 25, 2005. Through the years, Saint Christopher Church continues to grow along with our Northern Hardin County area. We have had a close relationship with our friends and family at Ft. Knox and love to be of service to all in the area. Saint Christopherr Catholic Church has come a long way since August 25, 1958. There has been prayer, work and sacrifice in our history. This heritage is a cornerstone for a leap into the future. The Radcliff and Northern Hardin County community is growing and the Catholic community of Radcliff wishes to be an integral part of that continued growth. Our church, and the parish life that issues forth from it are a sign of our commitment and dedication to the Worship of God and service to our community. People build churches through their outward expressions of faith and devotion, but it is our continued love of God and desire to do His work that will lead us into the future. May God continue to bless the people and parish of St. Christopher Church for many generations to come! As a faithfully Roman Catholic Community, with our focus on Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, may we continue to be true "Christopher", bearing Christ to our community. Final Prayer Holy Spirit Novena

Dear Lord Jesus, I have specific requests that may only partially fill the infinite needs and desires that are in my heart. I ask that You answer me not only for those requests but also for a greater reliance on You to satisfy the needs and desires that You have given me.

Please grant the prayers of all those who prayed this novena with me. Bless them with Your love and make them holy!

May I seek You with a sincere heart knowing that it will profit me nothing if I gain the whole world yet lose my soul.

So, help me to see Your good and gracious purpose in all my trials. Help me to see Your blessings in every day and help me to love You more.

Thank You for everything, Lord Jesus!

Amen.

Day 9 Holy Spirit Novena

Goodness
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let us bow down in humility at the power and grandeur of the Holy Spirit. Let us worship the Holy Trinity and give glory today to the Paraclete, our Advocate.

O Holy Spirit, by Your power, Christ was raised from the dead to save us all. By Your grace, miracles are performed in Jesus’ name. By Your love, we are protected from evil. And so, we ask with humility and a beggar’s heart for Goodness within us.

We want to be like your Saints in heaven. Holy Spirit, renew us by your power with your Goodness that we may bring the Good News to the world.

Holy Spirit we ask for the grace of [Mention your intention here].

Amen.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord,

Amen.
