This Sunday we'll explore the Old Testament Book of Esther. It's a fictional tale about a drunk, easily-influenced Persian King in the 5th century BCE, court drama and a slimy villain, two strong female queens, facing uncertainty in life, and making choices. Plus it is the basis for the Jewish festival of Purim. Come join the conversation at 9:30 a.m. at Meadowbrook Country Club in Racine.

Sadly, the message of Jonah gets lost in a big fish story. Take another look at it... it's a clear message of God's love for everyone... even those people we don't like.

Jonah is a book unlike any other book in the Bible. It’s a story about a prophet who does everything a prophet of God should NOT do. It is full of humor and irony and was clearly written to entertain its audience.

David & Goliath is more than a cultural cliche, it is a reminder that the living God stands with us against the Goliaths of our day opening up possibilities for new life.
