Please join us in praying for the people of Jamaica today, as Hurricane Melissa is devastating the island with record-high winds, rain, and flooding.

Lord, You are our refuge and strength—our very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask You to protect every person caught in the path of this storm. Calm the winds, quiet the waves, and make Your presence known in every community.

Give courage to those serving others right now; the first responders, church leaders, and government officials. Provide what’s needed: shelter, food, power, and peace. And for those who are afraid, remind them that when we pass through the waters, You are with us (Isaiah 43:2).

God, let Your Church rise up with compassion and care. May Your love be seen through helping hands and hopeful hearts in the days ahead.
