The SALT FBC Quitman Youth of First Baptist Church Quitman are ready to roll up their sleeves and serve our community!
On Saturday, October 31st, our youth will be participating in a service project in conjunction with the City of Quitman Cleanup Days. We’ll be helping Quitman residents by picking up unwanted junk, trash, and other items from their homes and hauling them to the city warehouse.
At this time, this service is for residents who live inside the Quitman city limits.
If you or someone you know needs help getting items picked up and hauled away, please contact Pastor Bobby Robert Strong or James A. Attaway. We’ll coordinate with you and hopefully get you on our list for Saturday.
📅 Saturday, October 31st
⏰ 7:30 AM to Noon
📍 Meet at First Baptist Church Quitman
🧤 Youth volunteers, bring work gloves and a servant’s heart!
This is a great opportunity for our young people to put their faith into action by serving our church family, helping our neighbors, and making a difference right here in Quitman.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
After we wrap up at noon, make plans to head over to the Wood County Old Settlers Reunion 2026 and enjoy the rest of the day with our community!
Let’s serve. Let’s clean up. Let’s make a difference!
