Peacemaking is hard. But the other side of it can be beautiful.
Healthy relationships aren’t built by never disagreeing. In fact, if you’re truly known by someone, conflict is inevitable.
The question isn’t whether we’ll disagree. It’s what we’ll do when we do.
When we learn to lay down our preferences, listen to one another, forgive, and pursue peace, conflict doesn’t have to destroy a relationship. Sometimes it’s the very thing God uses to deepen it.
There is beauty on the other side of peacemaking.

Release requires one. Rebuild requires two.

Not every conflict is a catastrophe.

We live in a culture where every disagreement can feel like a deal breaker and every difference becomes a reason to walk away.

But Christian maturity looks different.

Bearing with one another in love (Ephesians 4:2) means learning to stay connected even when we don’t see everything the same way. Some of our deepest relationships can be with people we deeply disagree with.

That kind of community requires maturity. And it’s beautiful when we see it happen by the power of the Holy Spirit.
