VBS week at Encounter was incredible! 🙌

150 kids, 70+ amazing volunteers, and 4 days filled with laughter, worship, games, and unforgettable moments. We are so incredibly grateful for everything God did throughout this week, and for everyone who made this week possible! We can’t wait to see how God continues to work in the lives of these kids. 🤎

We’re gearing up for VBS week at Encounter, and we can’t wait!

Get ready to kick off the summer with an unforgettable week of faith-filled fun, high-energy games, creative crafts, and exciting Bible adventures at Illumination Station—the brightest week of the year!

Throughout the week, kids will discover how light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals who Jesus is and why He is the Light of the World. And best of all, we’d love for every child in our community to join us!

⏰ Time: 6:00–8:30 PM
👧👦 Who: Children ages 3 (by June 1) through students who have recently completed 5th grade

Pastor Jake is going to be sharing at a Revival Night coming up on June 6th to stoke the fire of what God is doing in the Southern End!

This barn revival night is going to be a chance for believers all across the southern end to gather at Jesse Stoltzfus’ farm to seek a fresh move of God’s Spirit for our region. Believers of all ages are welcome to join us in worship, building faith, and responding to see God move across in Lancaster!

The night is a pre-rally to build momentum for Fire in the Farmlands which culminates this September 17-19 in Bird In Hand.

We’re looking forward to being together tomorrow for one combined Service under the tent, starting at 9:30 AM. Bring a jacket and come ready for a great morning together.

Kids Church will be held downstairs for children ages 0 through 3rd Grade, and check-in begins at 9:15 AM.

🔥 PENTECOST WEEKEND SPEAKERS🔥

We’re excited to gather together this coming weekend (May 22-24th) to celebrate Pentecost, tent revival style! Let’s get to know our weekend speakers a little better…

On Friday at 7:00 PM, we will hear from a son of the house, Evan Saunders. Evan will be sharing on spiritual hunger and moving beyond complacency by stepping into a lifestyle of pursuit and deep hunger for God. Evan currently resides in the Philippines, where he serves in partnership with Aruka.

On Saturday evening at 7:00 PM, Joey Parson, founder of Christ For You Ministries, will be speaking on Receiving the Power of the Spirit and the Joy of the Lord. Joey carries a passion to see people encounter the fullness of the Gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit. He resides in Lancaster, PA, with his wife, Madison, and their daughter, Adalyn.

On Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, we will gather for one combined service featuring Brian Connolly, founder of Faith Like Birds and The Shout Youth Conference. Brian will be sharing on Encountering the Love of God. He has been involved in full-time ministry to teenagers since 2005 and is happily married with four daughters.

Come experience an old-school tent revival this Pentecost Weekend, May 22–24, at Encounter Church. It’s going to be a powerful weekend filled with powerful worship, dynamic speakers, and the presence of God as we gather together under the tent outside of Encounter Church.

All three of our speakers are evangelists and pastors who carry an anointing to release the power of the Holy Spirit. Friday night, we’ll hear from a son of the house, Evan Saunders, who is serving in the Philippines with Aruka. Saturday night, Joey Parson from Christ For You Ministries will be sharing. Then on Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, we’ll come together for one combined service as Brian Connolly from Faith Like Birds, shares on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

We are believing for God to save, heal, and transform hearts & lives throughout this weekend. Everyone is welcome, so invite your friends and family and come be part of what God is doing in the southern end of Lancaster!

Easter Sunday ‘26 at Encounter was celebrated so beautifully, as 12 people publicly declared their faith through Baptism.

Our Honduras team is back! 🇭🇳

They spent an incredible week partnering with Por Que’ No Tu’, pouring into children at the activity center, helping build a home, visiting churches & families, and serving wherever there was a need. It was a week full of meaningful moments and seeing God at work in so many ways.
