18 YEARS! Oak Hill is officially an adult! We are so grateful for the Lord's work in our church, and we enjoyed celebrating with in our worship service, by honoring graduates, a picnic, and our annual meeting. We look forward to what God will do in the next 18 years!

Two years ago we asked 12 men to enter into a two year commitment of intense study, deep comaraderie, and leadership development. We originally didn't have a name, so affectionately described it as a "band of brothers," later naming it our "Church Planting Cohort," with the aim of developing enough leaders to be able to send out for church planring. We met 30 Sunday nights out of the year for two years. from 8-9:30pm to reduce the impact on families with young kids, and each week they did serious coursework in the areas of biblical and systematic theology and leadership. 11 men finished strong last night with a Challenge Coin ceremony. Two more are ready to start their second year in the Fall (and we hope to add to their number). These men know their weakness, but even more God's strength on their behalf.
