Memorial Day Service

An update on tomorrow’s Memorial Day Service. All the events will be inside and the beginning time is the same, 10:00 a.m. The cemetery is too wet and with rain in the forecast again, we are moving everything inside.
Please join us for a wonderful service and meal after.

Vacation Bible School will be held June 22nd – 26th 6:00-8:30 p.m. The theme is “Snowball Mountain Challenge” "Find Your Strength in God." Classes for preschool through grade five, special needs class for all ages. The A-Team will be joining us again this year and any donations collected during that week will be given to their group “Joyfully Made Fellowship.” A meal will be provided for the entire family on Friday night. Pre-registration is available on our website.

Mark your calendars for our Memorial Day service on Sunday, May 24. The two hour service will start at 10 AM in the old cemetery east of the Church. Those attending are invited to stand at the cemetery wall to observe a brief ceremony which includes the VFW Post 4480, Color Guard,
and a dedication to Capt. John Paxton, a veteran of the Revolutionary War.
The service will continue in the Church with a flag salute and our featured speakers:
Robert Mowery, Wesley Girvin, and David Garver. After the service, there will be
a covered dish luncheon. Pulled Pork and Briskets will be provided, please bring a generous
side dish or dessert. Questions call the church at 717-786-3402.
