Fawn Grove Compassion Center

Fawn Grove Compassion Center Each piece of clothing, toy or accessory is inspected, cleaned, packed into boxes that are labeled and weighed.

Fawn Grove Compassion Center is a faith-based humanitarian and charitable organization that distributes clothing, crisis care kits, school supplies, and household goods and materials to a needy world. FGCC sends shipments of clean, laundered, and neatly packed clothing, Crisis Care Kits, School Pal-Paks, and many other items to those in need all around the world. Since 1996, more than 400 shipmen

ts have been sent to countries such as Zambia, Ukraine,

The warehouse is managed by three devoted employees and countless generous donors and volunteers. Great care is taken with every box in the hopes that Christ’s love shines through detailed work. As a program, Gifts-in-Kind (GIK) has earned an excellent reputation with several countries’ governments that are skeptical of most donating programs. FGCC GIK deals with an impressive amount of red tape in clearing shipments with different government’s customs offices, but has been successful in building relationships and trust. Because of this reputation, we require high standards of quality of the donated goods. On our site you will find many guidelines we ask that you abide by. Please know this is not to be overly picky, but to convey a message of love to the person who will eventually receive it as a gift from his brothers and sisters in Christ. We also follow the GIK Standards set by ACCORD (formerly AERDO, Association of Evangelical Relief & Development Organizations). ACCORD serves Christian organizations and churches to achieve the highest standards, principles and effectiveness in their relief and development efforts. AERDO/ACCORD GIK Standards may be found at:http://www.aerdo.net/GIK/docs/GIK_Standards_Ver2009.pdf

The Gifts-in-Kind is made possible by your donations and willingness to volunteer. Thank you for helping us to give hope and help to those in need around the world.

Aren’t these tissues sweet? Unfortunately, we cannot send them to other countries because of the religious message on them. Now we have Crisis Care Kits that are incomplete because of this mistake. The intentions were filled with love, but we cannot use them. 😕
