If you’re in any kind of transition right now, take these to prayer this week:

1. Where am I in transition right now? What feels uncertain, stretched, or outside of my control?

2. What is this transition revealing about what I really believe about God or myself?

3. Where am I tempted to rush ahead, stay back, hold too tightly, hold too loosely, or give up?

4. What is God inviting me to release? And what truth is He asking me to receive instead?

5. What is one step of obedience I can take this week to respond to what God is doing in me?

Save this and sit with the Holy Spirit in these questions.

How do we walk through transition well?

1. Release – Let go of false beliefs, timelines, identities, and behaviors.
You will carry into the next season anything you refuse to grieve.

2. Receive – Accept what is true: who Christ is, who He says you are, and the new reality He’s leading you into.

3. Respond – Walk it out in community. Tell people the new mindset or habit you’re “trying on” and invite them to remind you.

4. Rhythms – Stay anchored in Scripture, prayer, worship, and community.
Your emotions may be up and down, but your rhythms keep you with Christ.

📝 Which step is hardest for you right now: releasing, receiving, responding, or setting rhythms?

There are common ways we sabotage what God is doing in us during transition:

1. Jumping ahead – forcing clarity and outcomes too soon
2. Staying behind – clinging to what’s comfortable, even if it was bo***ge
3. Gripping tightly – trying to control and “behave our way” into promotion
4. Gripping loosely – resignation: “Why does it matter anyway?”
5. Assuming God’s motives – deciding *why* God is doing this, instead of asking what He’s forming

We want explanations; God wants trust.

In transition, God isn’t just rearranging your calendar.
He’s forming Christ in specific areas of your life:

F – Foundational beliefs: what you really believe about God
O – Orientation: what your heart is actually aimed at
R – Relationships: how you relate and react to people
M – Mission: what you live for—your lane, not someone else’s
I – Identity: who you are beyond roles and titles
N – Nature: what naturally comes out of you—flesh or fruit
G – Grit/Grace: striving or abiding, self-reliance or dependence

🙏 “Jesus, don’t waste this transition. Form Yourself in every part of me.”

We love the phrase “from glory to glory.”

But we try to skip the little two‑letter word in the middle: “to.”

That “to” is where the process happens.
The “to” is where Christ is formed in us.
The “to” is where our timelines die, our idols are exposed, and our trust is deepened.

Transition isn’t God interrupting your life.
Transition is God forming you for the life you were made to live.

👉 Instead of praying, “God get me out of this,” ask:
“God, what are You forming in me in this ‘to’?”
