One of the greatest dangers in blessing is forgetting.

Moses warned Israel: when the houses are built, when the flocks multiply, when the silver and gold increase — don’t forget the Lord.

Don’t forget the wilderness.
Don’t forget the hunger.
Don’t forget the water from the rock.
Don’t forget the manna.
Don’t forget what God carried you through.

We need to build a wall of remembrance in our hearts — a place where we rehearse the faithfulness of God.

Not to live in the pain of the past, but to remember the God who never left us in it.

The wilderness was not just about getting Israel into the promised land.

It was about preparing Israel to carry the promised land.

God humbled them.
God tested them.
God allowed them to hunger.
Then He fed them with manna.

Why?

So they would know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.

The testing isn’t because God is cruel.
It’s because He is a good Father.

He is preparing you for what He has prepared for you.

Following Jesus is not a one-time decision.

It is a daily invitation.

A daily surrender.
A daily dependence.
A daily choice to follow where He leads.

Spiritual growth rarely happens all at once.

It happens through small moments of faithfulness:
A prayer offered.
A habit formed.
A conversation handled differently.
A step of obedience taken.

Jesus isn't looking for perfection.

He's inviting us to walk with Him.
