In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.’ ” - Matthew 3:1–3 (ESV)

This Sunday, Pastor Nick will be preaching on this passage. And we will consider 3 great preparations of John the Baptist that make way for the greater Messiah. Please join us!

Tomorrow morning Pastor Nick will be preaching from Matthew 2:13-18. From this text of Scripture, we will see that God's preservation of His Son confirms that Jesus is the promised Messiah. Please join us!

The reading of Scripture is an important part of our Sunday worship service. We are currently reading through Psalm 119. This Psalm is a beautiful and powerful reminder of the priceless treasure that God has given to us in His written, holy Word!

Psalm 119:9 (ESV) — How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.

Psalm 119:47–48 (ESV) — for I find my delight in your commandments, which I love. I will lift up my hands toward your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes.

Psalm 119:72 (ESV) — The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

Psalm 119:97 (ESV) — Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.

Happy Fourth of July! “America! America! God shed His grace on thee…”
We are grateful to God for His abundant mercy and grace to our nation over these past 250 years! We are also thankful for the many freedoms and blessings that we enjoy in this nation. Let us give thanks to God and ask that He might continue to grant us His grace. And that His gospel would be clearly and boldly proclaimed throughout this nation!
