MISSIONARY UPDATE FROM FISA:
EVANGELISM
By Godโs grace, our church in Libreville is actively evangelizing, baptizing, discipling, and expanding Gospel outreach into new cities throughout Gabon. We are deeply aware that this is not the result of human strategy, but of faithful sowing and the power of the Word of God. Last year was a remarkable year, with over 500 souls trusting Christ as Saviour. Several thousand John & Romans booklets and Gospel tracts were also distributed.
The Lord continues to add to the church. Edith and Rosa were among those recently baptized and soon entered our discipleship program. After faithful instruction and growth, they are now actively serving in the church โ it is a tremendous joy to see new converts move from salvation to baptism to discipleship to service. Several additional baptisms are scheduled and we are praying that many more who were saved last year will also follow in baptism.
At least 30 individuals were actively discipled in 2025 and that number continues today. The goal is not simply decisions, but mature disciples.
MINISTRY EXPANSION & UPDATES
A ministry extension has officially begun in the city of Kango, where the Gospel preaching and Bible teaching are taking root.
In the city of Ntoum, two faithful brothers, Mathurin and Etienne, are currently overseeing and strengthening the ministry work there. We are praying that this effort will develop into a strong local church.
In Libreville, we currently have six ongoing home-based Bible studies, reaching families and neighborhoods that might not yet attend regular services.
Our church experienced both rejoicing and sorrow this year: our beloved womenโs leader, Maman Tongo Brigitte, graduated into Heaven and went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a great loss for our church. She was one of the most loving, hardworking and faithful soul-winners we have ever had. Her testimony continues to influence the women and young believers she discipled: she labored tirelessly in evangelism, prayer and encouragement.
PRAYER REQUESTS
THE PURCHASE OF A DEDICATED SOUL-WINNING BUS:
Mobility has been one of our greatest challenges. Transportation limitations have restricted our ability to reach farther villages and to bring converts consistently to church services. We are praying earnestly for increased mobility so that we can reach even farther regions of Gabon with the message of salvation.
PURCHASE OF LAND FOR A PERMANENT CHURCH PROPERTY
This would provide: stability, visibility, long-term ministry growth and a permanent Gospel lighthouse in Libreville.
With hearts full of gratitude, we thank the Lord Jesus Christ for each of the churches that continue to pray, give, and stand with us in the work of the Gospel here in Gabon. Your prayers move Heaven. Your support moves the Gospel. Your investment moves eternity. Together we are laying eternal foundations in West Africa. Every soul saved here is fruit that will echo forever in Heaven.
