Thankful for a good Sunday today with our brothers and sisters in Christ! Had a good morning service followed by a good Mexican themed lunch, and good times of fellowship. We had two visitors John, and Victor. If they both come one more time they won’t be visitors any longer but will be added to our Sunday School roll. Praise God!

Following our lunch those who were able went to a local nursing home to minister to those there and they seemed to enjoy it as we sang songs, shared scripture, and words of encouragement. I want to thank Brother Caleb Cox for organizing this visit, and for his wife Sister Katie Cox for taking the lead on organizing all the songs to be sung. One resident had a request she wanted sung, “When the roll is called up yonder” it seems it was her mom’s favorite.

Thank you all for praying for Victor as he wanted to go with us to visit at the nursing home and he seemed to really enjoy it and I heard he even has interest in wanting to attend the General Assembly! God is so good!

Another praise report we haven’t posted yet.

A couple of weeks ago a young man came in while we were in congregational songs I believe and joined us in service. That day the message was “Hell is as real as heaven” after the service he approached me and had some questions about hell because he had seen a you tube video that he said led him to our church but what I mentioned about hell was different then what he heard and he was now confused. I begin to share with him what the Bible says about hell and somewhere in the conversation I felt led to ask him what his reason was for coming to church today. What were you hoping to get from it I asked. He then proceeded to tell me how he was depressed, and the Lord opened up the door for me to begin to tell this young man about Jesus. He came that day depressed and looking for the true Church. He wanted to know where the true Church was because he was confused. He wasn’t there by accident. We got to a point where I asked him if he wanted to ask Jesus into his heart, and he did. I prayed with this young man at the back of our sanctuary as he asked the Lord to forgive him of his sins. He came back this past Sunday holding the Bible we gave him, and said he is coming again this Sunday, God still saves too, and people are really looking for the truth. Keep praying for him, his name is Victor. He wants to know what’s right.

God still heals!

This past Sunday a dear sister from our local church wasn’t feeling well and I could tell and asked her how she was doing. I asked if she wanted prayer before Sunday school and she said yes. We gathered anointing her with oil in obedience to The Word of God, and the report I got later was that immediately, yes I said immediately she felt better and was made whole! My friend it doesn’t matter the need, God is able to meet every single one!

LET’S HAVE REVIVAL!

When? Friday-Sunday April 17th-19th. Where? At The Church of God located at 42 Pennwood LN Pueblo, CO. Friday Evening will begin at 7:00 pm, Saturday Evening at 6:00 pm, and Sunday Morning at 10:00 am. Come be with us as we have revival and experience the blessings of the Lord!

Come be with us tomorrow for Sunday School starting at 10:00 am, and our morning worship service beginning at 11:00 am. We are expecting great things from the Lord!

What a good Sunday we had today. We had 26 in person attendees for Sunday School, with one attending over FaceTime so a total of 27. Only 23 more to get to 50 so the Pastor can preach from the roof of the church, we are trusting in the Lord for that. We sang songs about heaven, and also heard a timely message. We had a good prayer service this afternoon as well. God is good!
