Yesterday we had a lovely pride communion service together.

We talked about celebrating diversity, what we've learned and how we've grown as we have embraced the enduring principles of Unity in Diversity, Sacredness of Creation, and the Worth of All Persons.

We agreed that it's never easy work, but has richly rewarded our lives and our faith to learn from those who are different from us.

Join us for Justice and Joy Hour this Sunday!

What should you write letters about? Individuals can write about whatever moves their consciences.

Supplies will be provided.

If church isn’t normally your thing, this is a great non-traditional way to get involved and make friends without pressure. Feel free to come write letters and then peace out before worship service at 3:30.

For Justice and Joy Book Club, we will be reading The Cross and the Lynching Tree, by James Cone.

The discussion on the book will be on March 22nd, at 2 PM, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. We will be in the upstairs room.

How can I get a copy of the book?
You can get a copy yourself, or you can be reimbursed for your copy (contact us!)

What if church isn’t my thing?
That’s completely fine. We’ll be meeting in a classroom-type room in a church, not a chapel. While we meet before our worship service, we completely understand that that’s not for everyone. You’re more than welcome to come just for book club and peace out before church service begins at 3:30.

Do I have to read the whole book?
Read as much or as little as you like. We will be discussing the entire book on the 22nd, and moving on to another justice-focused book next month.

Worship service is always at 3:30 on Sundays!

First Sunday: worship at 3:30, with communion! Communion is open to ALL.

Second Sunday: Justice-focused Sunday School with an activity such as letter writing at 2 pm in the upstairs room.
Worship service at 3:30. On the second Sunday, our service is focused on singing and discussing hymns.

Third Sunday: cafe meetup at 2:00 pm to chat. Worship at 3:30.

Fourth Sunday: book club Sunday school at the upstairs room at 2:00 pm. Worship at 3:30.

Attend as much or as little as you like! We’d love to have you!
