Valentine's Day ❤️ was enjoyed by 44 guests today at Mt. Nebo Church.

Today chili cook off was enjoyed with out having to make reservations, without waiting an hour for being seated at a table, and some of the best home cooked food.

Best overall chili was made by Jeff F. He gets to keep the Golden ladel for a year.
The most eye appealing chili goes to Diana P. and the surprise chili goes to Dana S. for having a surprise ingredient (pineapple)🍍

Our bakers in the church also brought out their best desserts to be judged and raise money for our Samaratans purse / Operation Christmas Child mission.
$600 was raised by donating/voting for your favorite dessert. $1 equal 1 vote.
Donna F. won 1st prize with her strawberry rhubarb dessert. Pam F. won 2nd prize with peanut butter delight and Maddy won 3rd for her triple layer brownies.

Thanks to everyone for a great turn out and for our Host of the evening, Don P. , we had a great time playing Jeopardy!

Now that Christmas is over, don't throw away your Christmas cards. We can use the front covers to decorate shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. We will have a box in the back of the church for donated cards. Thank you!
